鄭州英思力出國(guó)英語(yǔ)課程設(shè)置
ESLI語(yǔ)言中心是針對(duì)那些準(zhǔn)備從非英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的學(xué)生成功進(jìn)入海外大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)而設(shè)置。The ESLI language Centers are designed to prepare students from non-English speaking countries to successfully enter and study at overseas universities。
Listening聽(tīng)力：利用各種資源，幫助學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)有效的聽(tīng)力技能，使他們能夠在課堂內(nèi)外交流自如。Using a variety of sources, students learn effective listening skills that they can implement both inside and outside the classroom。
Speaking / Pronunciation口語(yǔ)/發(fā)音：學(xué)生通過(guò)在不同場(chǎng)合的對(duì)話練習(xí)，比如日常對(duì)話、正式交談、課堂展示等提高了自信心。Students gain confidence speaking in a variety of situations: casual conversations, formal dialogue, class presentations, etc。
Reading閱讀：除課堂的閱讀外，每個(gè)學(xué)生每學(xué)期都要求閱讀一本英文小說(shuō)，這也是期中和期末考核的一部分。通過(guò)在課堂上的閱讀練習(xí)和個(gè)性化的閱讀計(jì)劃，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生閱讀的興趣；英思力有大量的國(guó)外原版小說(shuō)，學(xué)生也可以根據(jù)自己的興趣和喜好，選擇自己喜歡的小說(shuō)閱讀。Through in class reading exercises and a personalized reading program, students learn to read for pleasure and for university studies. Exposure to a wide variety of texts provides students with opportunities to find and select their own materials as well as develop some personal preferences。
Composition寫(xiě)作：通過(guò)引導(dǎo)練習(xí)，學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)如何進(jìn)行調(diào)查、研究、整理和起草文稿；自信心的建立、同學(xué)間的鼓勵(lì)也是很重要的。學(xué)生將從初級(jí)的寫(xiě)句子，寫(xiě)段落，過(guò)渡到高級(jí)的寫(xiě)論文。Through guided practice, students learn how to research, organize, and draft a research paper. Confidence in self and peer evaluation is encouraged, as it is equally important to a successful university experience。
Vocabulary詞匯：學(xué)生會(huì)建立基于日常對(duì)話和課堂場(chǎng)合的詞庫(kù)。另外，我們要求學(xué)生進(jìn)行長(zhǎng)期并反復(fù)式的詞匯積累。高級(jí)別的學(xué)生除課堂所需掌握的單詞外，外教還要求學(xué)生每周記20個(gè)國(guó)外大學(xué)課堂常用單詞。Students develop a vocabulary base appropriate for everyday conversations and classroom situations. In addition, they learn methods for long-term building and retaining functional vocabulary。
Grammar語(yǔ)法：我們鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生通過(guò)運(yùn)用來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)法。語(yǔ)法教學(xué)是提供在聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)范圍內(nèi)進(jìn)行的潛移默化的教育。Students are encouraged to learn grammar through use. Grammar instruction is provided within the context of listening, speaking, reading, and writing。
